Oh cool, we're defending Harvey Weinstein now?

Apparently it’s 2025 and we’re back to asking if Harvey Weinstein might have been misunderstood. Seriously.

Candace Owens is out here platforming him from prison. Joe Rogan is casually dropping “well, maybe he didn’t do it” vibes. And suddenly the guy who triggered the whole #MeToo movement is getting a redemption arc like he’s the villain in a Netflix drama and not... you know, an actual predator.

This isn’t about one man. It’s about the fact that every time survivors start gaining ground, the system kicks back like it’s being inconvenienced. When people say stuff like, “But she kept talking to him after,” they’re not being logical. They’re being willfully ignorant about how trauma works. Or worse, they know. And they’re just more comfortable defending rapists than confronting rape culture.

I don’t know who needs to hear this, but you don’t have to be the perfect victim to be a real one.

What’s happening right now is a coordinated effort to drag us back into silence. But we’re not fucking going.

What You Can Do (besides rage-scroll):

Read the receipts. This article breaks it down in plain terms. Share it. Talk about it.

Call the shit out. If you hear someone parroting this “what if he’s innocent” crap, say something. Loudly.

Support survivors. Not with hashtags, but with actual donations, amplification, and showing the fuck up when it counts.
